Learning Objectives

Following this session, participants will have an increased understanding of serendipitous discovery behaviors that can inform library decisions about recommendation tools and other customizations to campus discovery services.

Abstract

Through a study of undergraduate students and faculty, this talk summarizes common researcher experiences with methods of serendipitous discovery within the scholarly community.
