Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 3:30 PM–4:15 PM CDT
Room 204
Conference Track

4. External Relationships

Learning Objectives

Participants will understand how libraries, publishers and KB service providers can work together to create reliable access to electronic resources,

Participants will learn how to influence key publishers to expand on the work that has been done thus far to improve access to electronic resources.

Abstract

High quality data is essential for discovery and access of e-resources, but in many cases low quality, inaccurate information leads to low usage and a poor return on library investment dollars.  Librarians, publishers, and knowledge base providers will talk about how they are working together to improve access to e-resources.
