Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 3:30 PM–4:15 PM CDT
Room 105
Conference Track

2. Collection Development & Assessment

Learning Objectives

Following this session, participants will be able to understand the value, effort, and time involved in creating actionable data for an extensive electronic-journal subscription review, employ troubleshooting and time-saving techniques with UStat, and adapt applicable elements from our review to their own situations.

Abstract

MHC LITS has successfully used cost-usage data to guide the way when working with faculty to make e-journal subscription review decisions. For the 2015 review, we delivered Collection Development multi-faceted, multi-year actionable data using tools like ExLibris' UStat and additional reports like COUNTER JR5.
