mardi 5 avril 2016 à 16:30–17:15 CDT
Room 204

4. External Relationships

Learning Objectives

Following this session, participants will be able to improve usage of library resources, and better understand actual resource usage.

Abstract

Join a scholarly publisher, a discovery service provider, and a university as they uncover, address and provide examples of how collaboration across the groups can have a major impact on the discovery user experience, and ultimately the usage and value of library resources. In addition, the group will discuss issues of concern around search origination as it relates to the statistical information that link resolvers may inadvertently hide, causing publishers and librarians to see only part of the picture of how and where usage occurs.
