Learning Objectives
Following this workshop, participants will have an understanding of accessibility, including background, legislation, and standards for accessible web content.
Following this workshop, participants will learn about the role of accessibility in library e-resources.
Following this workshop, participants will be able to communicate effectively with vendors about accessibility concerns.
Following this workshop, participants will be able to run basic web accessibility scans and edit Word, PPT, and Adobe documents to improve accessibility.
Abstract

Resources are designed for use by people of all abilities. This workshop will build your proficiency with accessibility for e-resources. Participants will learn strategies to incorporate accessibility measures into workflows, considerations for policy-making and vendor negotiations, and techniques for improving the accessibility of their own websites and online resources.
