The “Write” Workshop! Successful Scaffolds and Strategies Across the Curriculum

Abstract

Accelerate ELL students’ academic writing across the curriculum using practical hands-on strategies to engage newcomers. Participants will interact with ELL writing samples, graphic organizers, and vocabulary supports that increase writing across content areas. Malden Public Schools’ SEI teachers will share a dynamic writing toolkit for students at WIDA levels 1-4.
