Systemic Change: Lessons from a National EL Professional Development Grant
Abstract
Through a National EL PD grant, UMass Lowell and the Lawrence Public Schools have implemented a systemic approach to improve educational opportunities for ELs. This panel discussion which includes district administration, principals, a teacher, teacher educator, and a paraprofessional showcases the processes, challenges, and outcomes of this work.
