(Re)Interpretations & (RE)TELLings of Equity for ELLs in SEI Courses
Abstract
This paper presents findings on year 2 theory-practice research related to the state-mandated Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) course in a state university teacher licensure program. Critical praxis approaches to SEI resist a tendency toward the reproduction of an inequitable status quo in ELL education in K-12 and university contexts.
