Abstract
In this presentation for secondary educators, a Fund for Teachers Fellow with extensive experience working with Haitian learners shares the results of their fellowship in Matenwa, Haiti, highlighting key linguistic assets - and strategies for language challenges - that many Haitian ELLs bring to the classroom.
