
This session presents the findings of an action research project conducted with beginner ELLs to see which was more effective for vocabulary acquisition: the smartphone application Quizlet or paper wordlists. Participants will learn to implement mobile assisted language learning to create greater learner autonomy with vocabulary acquisition.
