Abstract
Writing has always been a user-centered, contextual, iterative process, but we often forget that when we think of it as “copy.” In this session, we'll look at how to inform what we write with user research, analytics and design processes that can bring a workshop sensibility to an editorial team. We'll also cover some of the pitfalls of writing on the web and how to avoid ignoring your internal users when designing the back-end of a content management system.
