Session Description

When engaging in a data cleanup project, many libraries use a "brute force" method; this can cause stress and can be expensive.  An alternative is a "soft" cleanup process, whereby data is cleaned up incrementally and selectively rather than using a hammer and brute force.  The result is that those items that get used the most or have the greatest need will have that data in better condition than seldom or never used items; this allows for a better utilization of staff and resources.
