Jennifer Glickman, Associate Manager at the Center for Effective Philanthropy (CEP), helps manage projects on the Research Team at CEP. In her role, she supports the design of original studies, rigorous analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, and writing of final reports to serve foundation leaders and staff. She is passionate about the power of high-quality research in serving and enhancing the social sector.

Phil Buchanan, President of the Center for Effective Philanthropy (CEP), is a passionate advocate for the importance of philanthropy and the nonprofit sector and deeply committed to helping foundations to maximize their impact. At CEP, Phil has built a research team, secured funding, developed a research agenda, and managed the development and introduction of new performance assessment tools -- leading the growth of the organization into its role as the leading provider of data and insight on foundation effectiveness. Phil is co-author of many CEP reports, a columnist for The Chronicle of Philanthropy, and a frequent blogger for the CEP Blog.

Tanya Beer is Associate Director for the Center for Evaluation Innovation in Washington, D.C., which aims is to build the field of evaluation in areas that are challenging to measure. In addition to publishing on emerging trends in the evaluation of innovative social change efforts, Tanya works with foundations, nonprofits and evaluators to develop new evaluation tools, methods, and learning processes. She is also the co-Director of the Evaluation Roundtable, a network of foundation leaders in evaluation in the US, Canada and the UK that seeks to improve how foundations learn about their results and increase their impact.

Julia Coffman founded the Center for Evaluation Innovation. She has more than 20 years of experience as an evaluator, and now specializes in the evaluation of advocacy, public policy, and systems change efforts. She also serves as the Co-Director for the Evaluation Roundtable, a network of evaluation leaders in philanthropy. For 15 years Julia worked with the Harvard Family Research Project, a research and evaluation organization at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. There she evaluated foundation and nonprofit initiatives and published a nationally renowned periodical on emerging evaluation strategies and issues. She speaks and writes regularly on evaluation and strategic learning.
