Session Description
ROUNDTABLE TOPIC: Simplify, an initiative of the Technology Affinity Group (TAG), promotes using technology to streamline the grantmaking process. Its first effort, developed through a partnership with GuideStar, involves data sharing for grant applications.
With Simplify for grant applications, nonprofits can complete even the most unique grant applications more efficiently. Nonprofits enter and maintain their core information in a single place (a GuideStar Nonprofit Profile), and then that information is automatically added to every grant application the nonprofit completes for any participating funder. The service is provided at no cost to nonprofits.
Other Simplify efforts include developing open data standards and establishing additional partnerships that help the sector simplify the grantmaking process.
