Abstract
In this workshop, participants will learn how to incorporate informational and argumentative texts to supplement literary selections and support academic language growth in their seondary ESL classrooms. We will review 2 different strategies (article of the week and multimedia) as well as techniques to adapt nonfiction for ELD levels.
