Abstract
Bilingualism is a complex multi-dimensional construct beyond English language proficiency. In this presentation, I will share recent research on how bilingualism shapes young children’s fundamental language learning processes and subsequent academic outcomes. Furthermore, I will demonstrate other ways to measure bilingualism in addition to English proficiency.
