Session Abstract
Present-day dictations go beyond improving listening ability. Participants will work with four types of dictations: cloze, dictogloss, prediction, and pair using current and motiviating materials at the beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. A large handout will allow teachers to use these new ideas immediately upon returning to their clasrooms.
