Session Abstract
Participants will: review the research on oral vocabulary and comprehension; learn how to incorporate 4-6 new academic vocabulary words each day in just 10 minutes through engaging discussions of fine art images; receive a CD with 24 digital images; and view a video of the strategies in action in a first grade classroom.
