Dine Around: Successful Governance Structures for Donor Collaboratives
Session Description
DINE AROUND TOPIC: Choosing the right governance structure is one of the most challenging—and crucial—steps in launching a successful donor collaborative. Which structure best leverages each funder’s unique perspective and strengths? How can we anticipate and mitigate the risks inherent in collaboration? Which model will be flexible enough to adapt to changes over the long term? Over dinner, we’ll touch on a variety of successful and flexible governance structures. Building on conversations launched at last October’s Collaboration Conference, we will invite participants to share their experiences with donor collaboratives, and compare notes on successes and challenges in structuring co-funding efforts.
