Session Description

The shifting landscape of library work requires a careful audit of professional development and, more specifically education. Situating library education within the broader context of global change, including shifting labour practices, this session provides an inclusive discussion about the changing demands of the workplace and the role of formal and informal professional development. More specifically, this session will prompt attendees to consider the relationship between education, adaptability, and change.
