Abstract
Participants will learn how growth mindset impacts student achievement. ESL students will present on how they advocated for themselves and persuaded the administrators of their school to adopt a more strengths based outlook on ELLs. Participants will discover ways to foster a growth mindset and change school culture around ELLs.
