Session Description
As our online and blended course offerings increase, the School of Continuing and Professional Studies at Loyola University Chicago has launched a successful online training session, called Mastering Learning Tools, to make sure our students are ready for online, flipped, and blended learning environments. This presentation will cover the background and reasoning for our approach, the requirements of the training, the results to date, and completed and planned improvements. A demo will also be included in the session.

Brief Bio
Dr. Jeanne Widen is the Associate Dean and prior Faculty Director of Online Education at the School of Continuing and Professional Studies at Loyola University Chicago. She started teaching literature and writing courses on-ground in 1987 and online in 2004. She has many years of administrative experience in higher- and adult-education, in the United States and abroad, and in traditional and online programs.
