Session Description
Online instructors are often hired and launched into a classroom with little formal training or solid tutelage in university specific policies and expectations. Attendees will be exposed to implemented faculty evaluation programs grounded in research literature and successfully implemented at three separate universities. Presenters will demonstrate how proper training and administrative support systems factor into productive evaluation and retention of online faculty members. Practical guidance to create and implement a successful online faculty system will be proffered.
