2016 Annual Conference

Forward Progress, run by former NCAA administrators, will provide an overview of NCAA initial eligibility processes for student-athletes. Attendees will learn basics of creating and updating a list of NCAA core courses; focus will be placed on specific topics that can as stumbling blocks for counselors. Topics include (a) approval for on-line/distance learning courses (b) dealing with NCAA processes (c) creation of lists for new schools (d) district-wide course lists and (e) navigating parent-student-athlete dynamics.
