Abstract

Research indicates school counselors feel a lack of competence to effectively support students with emotional and behavioral disorders; however, ASCA employs school counselors to serve all students. In this presentation, school counselors will learn evidenced-based and creative interventions to support students with emotional and behavioral disorders. Participants will also have the opportunity to develop a plan to take back to their school for immediate implementation.
