Abstract
Make the most of your time in the morning and afternoon! Instead of a non-counseling duty, come learn how to advocate for your counseling program while improving your at-risk students’ academics and attendance. Attendees will learn how to conduct effective check-in/check-out groups based on two different interventions: Silver City’s STRIVE group and Chattahoochee’s Attendance Check-in Challenge. Data from two elementary schools will be shown and resources shared.
