Abstract

In this interactive presentation, attendees will discover a new framework that will help school counselors support student’s emotional, academic, and career development. The innovative Ecological School Counseling model considers the way school counselors can connect and collaborate with school and community members to make a significant impact in their community. Attendees will have an opportunity to brainstorm ecological solutions to concerns impacting rural education and leave with a next-steps action plan.
