Abstract
With the increasing job market in career technical areas, school counselors need to be ready to produce skilled workers for the community. There are many opportunities to support students in making career decisions to fill these jobs and plan pathways for a happy, successful future. With the collection of data, collaboration with CTE educators and TCSG professionals, school counselors can prepare students to be career ready. Steps for stategic planning to give life to this endeavor will be presented.
