Abstract

School counselors aim to ensure a sense of understanding and mindfulness about the diversity that exists in their schools and communities. School counselors should use their Comprehensive School Counseling Program to addresses issues of social justice and empowerment in order to promote the success of students who otherwise have no support. This article aims to survey school counselors to compile some best practices in accomplishing a theme of social justice and empowerment in their schools
