Session Abstract
We will provide guided exploration in the different ways that iPads support student-directed learning that offer students culturally responsive opportunities for authentic communication and meaningful expression. These strategies move beyond traditional transmission-based, basic drill and practice to student-generated higher order thinking activities that promote the acquisition of contextually-based academic language.
