When you look up your name, use the detail listing to check what days/times you asked to be placed. This is a huge program and we can accommodate necessary changes in day and time now, but may not be able to do so after September 1, 2013 except in emergencies. Session Abstract
Social media is transforming the way adult learners communicate. There is a paucity of existing information about social media and its influence on the use of technology in higher education.

Understand the benefits and challenges college students, faculty, and administrators face as a result of the increasing use of social media tools such as Blogs, Wikis, Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, SlideShare, Flickr, Podcasts, YouTube, WIZIQ, and LinkedIn.
Session Description
Provide detailed discussions about social media and technology use in higher education to be supported with secondary data by the Pearson Social Media Survey, 2010.
Efforts are made to try to schedule sessions on the day preferred by the Primary Presenter, though this cannot be guaranteed. Please check your preference.
