It is time to review the schedule for the placement of your session in the AAACE Agenda. This is the final draft of the Schedule. When you look up your name, use the detail listing to check what days/times you asked to be placed. This is a huge program and we can accommodate necessary changes in day and time now, but may not be able to do so after September 1, 2013 except in emergencies. Please carefully check your placement and send any requests to Ginger Phillips, AAACE Conference Planner with AAACE Session Change Request in the subject line. We will respond to your email, but it may take us up to a week to do so. Thanks for your help in "fine tuning" this agenda!

Session Description
Distance Education is becoming the education platform of choice especially for adult learners. With this rapid increase in online program offerings, it is becoming more challenging to create engaging learning experiences for students in this setting. It is paramount that institutions providing online education as an option for students present virtual learning experiences that are interactive and engaging. More importantly, what are today’s organization needing from the current level of graduates that will be assuming positions of leadership and influence? It’s about transferable knowledge. Simply put, its boils down to the following:
• Know-how
• Know-what
• Know-why
• Know-when
This presentation seeks to provide adult educators with meaningful examples of how interactive activities and assessments can be incorporated into the virtual classroom and adds value to students learning experiences for both the student and the organizations that will employ them.
