Session Abstract
This session presents diversity-related findings from semi-structured interviews with 38 students and practitioners conducted during a year-long, dual-site study of adult learning practices and perspectives. Key vignettes from participants of color illustrate the limitations of pro-diversity rhetoric in adult higher education in relation to lived issues of race and culture.
