Hiring a new faculty is always difficult. Hiring a tenure track position adds additional layers. Hiring during a budget crisis presents obstacles and challenges that often feel chaotic. This session shares reflections on those obstacles and challenges from the search committee chai lens, focusing on practical tips and suggestions.
