This session examines the environmental organizer and activist perspective and voice regarding their knowledge and efforts of leading community fights against extreme extraction practices. Using cultural historical activity theory as the lens supplemented with critical theory, various latent issue outcomes of extreme extraction organizing and activism in accordance with adult/community education will be presented.
