Session Abstract
An exploratory factor analysis was used to identify eight factors that influence the instructional decisions teachers (N=427) make in the correctional education classroom. These eight factors are correlated with the characteristics of the teachers, the inmates, the educational programs, and the type of correctional facility, including the level of security.
