Session Abstract
The purpose of this session will be to discuss ways to improve synchronous instruction through a better understanding of instructor’s nonverbal immediacy behaviors. Discussion will focus on the advantages and disadvantages of a synchronous classroom where instruction includes face-to-face and videoconferencing technology. Relevant research, discussion, and application will be included.
