Program Summary

Bringing together applied linguistics, literacy experts and Indigenous teacher-researchers this symposium reports on teacher action research conducted in a post secondary professional development program for Yup’ik (dual) immersion teachers. Using constructivist grounded theory we explored the collaboration across departments, disciplines and D/discourses, identifying tensions around boundaries and boundary crossing.
