Program Summary

While US Latinx educational attainment continues to lag behind other groups, some of them fare beyond the K-12 system, becoming PhD holders and university instructors of Spanish (a language through which they are often stigmatized).This qualitative case study retells the stories of seven of them through an institutionalized struggles perspective.
