Program Summary
This presentation addresses the issue of teacher attrition by exploring the identity construction experiences of English language student teachers in Hong Kong who, upon graduation, chose not to teach. Ways in which teacher educators can support student teachers’ identity construction to retain high quality language teacher education graduates are discussed.
