Program Summary

This presentation will encourage the development of courses that integrate phonological content with teaching pedagogy within language-teacher education programs in order to prepare teachers to teach pronunciation, listening, and literacy. Support for this type of course comes from qualitative course-participant data showing the teacher-learners’ growing competencies and confidence.
