Program Summary

This paper examines the experiences of six Black American teachers who relocated to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), an English as a lingua franca context, to become K-12 English-medium teachers. The presenter will share the teachers' understandings of their experiences of professional practice and transformed identities.
