Program Summary

This presentation explores three innovative pedagogical practices that connect language, community and the arts in the context of an urban social justice teacher education program: 1) a linguistic landscape project; 2) an analysis of community arts (ie, murals, dance, and theater) and conversations with local artists; and 3) auto-ethnographies.
