Program Summary

Findings from a study which examined EL teachers' perceptions of how well their graduate programs prepared them to be advocates. Data show numerous advocacy actions teachers undertake, and the relative prominence of advocacy in their graduate training. Suggests how TESOL graduate programs can best prepare teachers to be EL advocates.
