This symposium examines a range of contemporary challenges facing English language teacher education in Latin America. The symposium includes reports on investigations and reflections from five different contexts: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, and Mexico. It contributes to expanding the discussion on social, cultural and political contexts of language teacher education.
