Program Summary

This symposium explores the philosophical, cognitive, and emotional challenges experienced by teacher educators when facilitating teacher learning through the practice of Transformative Language Learning and Teaching, a subset of Transformative Education, which has as its primary goals both personal transformation that results in bicultural and bilingual competence and learner autonomy.
