This presentation explores how12 Japanese-Russian bilingual teachers in Japan and Russia creatively used both languages to communicate, collaborate, and co-teach in their 3-month-long professional development program. By providing FL teachers with opportunities to intentionally translanguage, they may become more aware of the multilingual nature of language teaching and learning.
