Program Summary

This study surveyed teachers’ beliefs and practices regarding pronunciation instruction in L2 Spanish. Answers from participants with pronunciation-related background tended to align with SLA research on pronunciation, but results also point to a disconnect between teachers’ beliefs and the state of the art. Implications for professional development are discussed.
