Session Description
Over the last three decades, college tuition rates have steadily increased. In addition to the tuition increase, the rise in student loan debt has gained international attention and has become a central topic in politics. Many college graduates are currently in default of their loans and are seeking employment which will allow them to cover the cost of their loans while covering general expenses such as housing, utilities, food, and transportation. The impact of the GI Bill and its role in adult education is a historical and ongoing concern. In terms of timeliness, the current scandal related to college admissions makes this topic.
