Abstract
This presentation is a call to take a step back to remind the audience that while we move forward using technology to help us manage libraries, it is important that we uphold the fundamentals as they are the pillars guiding our selection of tools and strategies. The presentation is about 30 minutes with additional time for Q&A which may allow clarification or elaboration of the issues.
Mr Pitt Kuan Wah is the former Director of the National Archives of Singapore & the Head of ISEAS (Institute of Southeast Asian Studies) Library, Singapore. He has played a major role in shaping the archives landscape of Singapore & continues to be an active consultant in digital archives matters.
